Yesteryear Collection

Introduced in 1966, the sleek, powerful Camaro was Chevrolet's answer to the highly popular Ford Mustang. The new Camaro could be equipped with a variety of engines, ranging from fast to very fast. In '66, the Super Sport model came with a powerful 350-cubic-inch engine. By 1968, several 396-cubic-inch versions were available to satisfy America's appetite for more muscle. You could specify 325, 350 or 375 horsepower. To create a smoother ride, Chevrolet had added multi-leafed springs and staggered shocks. To enhance the Camero's styling, the '68 model featured a rededigned grille and handsome new console. The Camaro SS was handsome, solid and powerful, harmonizing high performance and classic design.

Now this coveted muscle car is back in a precision-engineered die-cast replica crafted with authentic details. From the Chevrolet bow tie emblem and SS designation on the front grille to the intricate chrome-finished wheels, this is a true collector's model. Even the original factory paint scheme - Ermine White - has been duplicated to perfection. Crafted to capture such authentic details as the racing stripes and hood scoops, your model is authorized by General Motors. It is produced by - and available only from - Matchbox Collectibles.
